Welcome to my book blog

Everybody's doing it. Or at least it seems that way. Blogging, that is:)

Over the last couple years, I've occasionally read blogs, but never felt compelled to have my own. Until now.

Why now? Because I got too involved in some other people's blogs and felt it would be bad form to take over their blogs with my thoughts on a given topic. This left me with only one alternative - to get my own blog.

I'm not quite sure at this point what I will talk about. Maybe the weather? Maybe important social or political issues? I'm going to leave the door open on topics, but I can assure you, I will not bore you with my life, and I will talk about books most of the time. Or at least topics dealing with books - the industry, the craft, reading books and anything else book-related that springs to mind.

There are many facets of books that fascinate me - the readers, the writers, the reviewers, the publishers. So I may, from time to time, endeavor to get the opinions of others, perhaps start a debate, and occasionally, I might even go on a full-fledged rant.

Though I'm an author, I will not always blog as an author. Sometimes I'll be wearing my reader hat when I blog:)
